Making Puddles - Our Water Cycle Experiment

1. Alani tipped 2L of water on the concrete to make a puddle in the sun.
2. Liv, Cleo, and Reina drew around the puddle with chalk and Anahera took a picture.
3. we waited for 15 minutes to check the puddle to see how much water had evaporated.

What happened?
Both puddles evaporated but the puddle that was in the sun evaporated faster than the one in the shade. Think about which puddles disappeared faster?the puddle that was in the sun evaporated faster than the one in the shade.

What caused the water to disappear?Water in the sun will always disappear faster than the puddle in the shade.
