Making Puddles - Our Water Cycle Experiment

WALT explain what happens when water evaporates.Create a new blog post to explain our EVAPORATION science experiment.
What was our hypothesis?

Describe what we did?
  1. Alani tipped 2L of water on the concrete to make a puddle in the sun.
  2. Liv, Cleo, and Reina drew around the puddle with chalk and Anahera took a picture.
  3. we waited for 15 minutes to check the puddle to see how much water had evaporated.
What happened?
Both puddles evaporated but the puddle that was in the sun evaporated faster than the one in the shade. Think about which puddles disappeared faster?the puddle that was in the sun evaporated faster than the one in the shade.

What caused the water to disappear?Water in the sun will always disappear faster than the puddle in the shade.

Amazing Water Facts

My Amazing Water Facts

In my class we have been learning about the water cycle.  There is as much water in the world today as there was when the earth was formed.Earth will not get any more water! The longest non-stop swim was made by Susie Maroney from Australia in 1998.She swam from Mexico to cuba (197 km)
in 8 hrs 33 min.
